Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Treasurer of the Georgia Engineering and Technology Education Association is responsible for keeping accurate records of all transactions concerning financial affairs of the association. This part has been developed to provide some standard procedures for the Treasurer to follow so all records will be kept the same from year to year.

 

Biography

Pamela Brown has enjoyed teaching Engineering and Technology Education at the middle school level for 20 years. Pamela earn a Bachelor's of Science in Education and a Master's of Education from Georgia Southern University. She received her Educational Specialist degree in Technology Education from Georgia Southern as well in 1996. She has been working in the Coweta County School System for most of her career. Pamela has taught at Worth County Middle School, Monroe County Middle School, Newnan High School and Central Middle School. She currently teaches at Smokey Road Middle School in Newnan, Georgia where her students regularly participate in robotics competitions. Pamela has served on the GETEA board since 1993 as the Secretary and Treasurer.
